The Esplanade, Mt Pleasant - a dated home with an amazing view of the Swan river was transformed with a complete home renovation in two stages. The old kitchen was gutted and by removing several pantry walls, the kitchen space was increased. A window was sealed off to create additional storage above the cooktop. The main dining was refurbed to include a breakfast “coffee nook” lighted joinery display. The main ensuite tiled spa bath hob was removed to include a sculptural free-standing bathtub, and the brick shower walls were removed to include a glazed screen. New tiling was installed throughout wet areas, new vintage timber floor installed to main living, dining and stairs, new lighting, painting and all new fixtures, joinery and benchtops. A soft neutral colour scheme and textural materials were used to create a light-filled sanctuary.
